Overview
Malayer is one of Iran’s great vineyard towns, and its seedless grapes make exceptional raisins. Ours are dried using the traditional Malayer method to keep their honey-gold colour, then washed, de-stemmed and sorted by hand.
They are plump, soft and sweet with a light, bright acidity — a raisin often included in ajil-e shirin, and the one to keep in the cupboard for rice dishes, salads and baking.

Growing region
Vineyards and golden raisins
Malayer is one of Iran’s great grape towns. Its seedless grapes are sun-dried or briefly dipped and shade-dried to make the plump golden and green raisins that fill every bowl of ajil-e shirin.
Nutrition

Yes — they are made from seedless grape varieties.
Yes. Mazafati is a soft, high-moisture date, closer to fresh fruit than to a dried date. Keep it in the fridge, where it stays at its best for several months.
