1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the Nuts of Iran website at nutsofiran.com and information you provide when asking about our dates, Iranian nuts, dried fruit or sourcing work. Nuts of Iran is the contact responsible for these enquiries. Use the contact details below for privacy questions.
2. Contact forms and quotation requests
The contact form asks for your name, email address, message and enquiry topic; your company name is optional. The quotation form also asks for your country, quantity and destination city. You may choose to add a company, phone or WhatsApp number, product selections, specifications, packing and delivery preferences, preferred timing, business or order type, a sample request and a message.
Fields marked * are required to prepare a useful enquiry through the form. You can instead contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp. Please provide accurate contact details so we can reply, and share another person's information only if you are authorised to do so.
Please share only information needed for your enquiry. Do not include payment-card details, passwords, passport copies or other sensitive documents in a website message.
3. How the forms work
Typing into a form does not send its contents to Nuts of Iran or save a draft on our website. The buttons prepare a message using the details you entered:
- Continue to email opens a draft addressed to Nuts of Iran in your email application. Your email provider handles the draft and the message under its own settings and privacy policy.
- Continue to WhatsApp passes the prepared message to WhatsApp in a link, including the contact details and enquiry text you entered. WhatsApp's privacy practices apply when you open that link, even before you send the message.
Review the draft and press Send in your chosen application to contact us. Preparing a draft is not confirmation that a message was delivered or received. If the application does not open, use the direct contact details on the page. Draft links and search URLs may remain in your browser or application history according to its settings.
The website has no customer accounts, online checkout or payment-card form. The site code does not save enquiry drafts in browser storage. Your browser may separately offer autofill or retain form history according to your settings.
4. Why we use enquiry information
We use received messages to answer questions, discuss product or sample availability, prepare requested quotations and follow up about your enquiry. The form has no newsletter or marketing subscription. If an order proceeds, the information needed for the transaction is handled with the agreed commercial documentation.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis depends on the activity: steps you request before a contract or performance of an agreed contract for order enquiries, a legitimate interest in responding to other business correspondence and protecting communications, or a legal obligation for necessary records.
5. Service providers and international communications
Email and messaging providers process communications under their own terms. Website delivery infrastructure may process technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers to deliver pages and maintain security. Catalogue searches include your search words in the page URL; do not use that search field for private contact or order details. The current site code does not include advertising pixels or behavioural analytics.
Where needed for an agreed quotation or order, relevant details may be shared with a service provider involved in fulfilling it, such as a courier or freight partner. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by applicable law. International email, messaging and order enquiries may involve processing outside your country; applicable transfer requirements must be addressed for the relevant service or transaction.
6. Retention and security
Enquiry information should be retained only while needed for the enquiry, related business correspondence or applicable record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on whether an enquiry becomes an order and which obligations apply. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion. No website or communication channel can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may ask us to explain what information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details or delete information no longer needed. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to access, portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent, and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. We may need proportionate information to verify a request before disclosing personal information.
